What to say
Thank you messages
A thank you that names the specific thing is worth ten that do not. "Thanks for everything" is polite; "thanks for driving two hours on a work night" is memorable.
Say what they did, and say what it saved you.
Short
- Thank you. Genuinely, not politely.
- You did not have to do that, which is exactly why it mattered.
- Thank you for showing up. Half of it is showing up.
- I owe you one, and I will remember it.
When they helped you through something
- I do not think you know how much that week would have flattened me without you in it. You never made me feel like a burden once. Thank you.
- You gave up your own time for something that was entirely my problem, and you did it without being asked twice. Thank you.
- Thank you for being practical when everybody else was being sympathetic. It was exactly what I needed.
धन्यवाद संदेश (Hindi)

Make the bouquet 🌷Questions
How soon should I send a thank you?
Soon enough that they can still connect it to what they did. A late thank you is still much better than none.
Is a message enough, or should I give something?
For most kindnesses a specific message is the thing people keep. Add something small if you want, but the sentence is what gets remembered.
